Let’s try a little thought experiment.
Suppose, after surveying 100 people, I discover that 10 of them are left-handed.
The next day I survey 200 people and turn up 20 southpaws.
On each of the next 8 days, I survey 100 more people than the one before, and the number of left-handers increases by 10 each day.
Finally, suppose that I send a graph (not the one mentioned in the title, that’s further down) of my results to a reporter to use in a story headlined:
Number of Left-Handers Mysteriously Grows!
If all of that happened, two things would be obvious:
- My reporter accomplice and I would be perpetrating a hoax.
- You’d be an idiot to fall for it.
If we keep testing more people for left-handedness, then, of course, we’re going to keep finding more of them.
If for some bizarre reason you started suspecting that the number of left-handed people might be mysteriously increasing, you wouldn’t care about the absolute number I find each day when you send me out testing for left-handedness.
What you’d want to know is the daily ratio of, as it were, the number of people who test positively for left-handedness to the number of people who were tested for it.
On the first day, it was 10/100 = 1/10; on the second, 20/200 = 1/10; on the third, 30/300 = 1/10; etc.
The ratio of those who tested positive to the total number tested remained at 1/10 every single day.
Hence, contrary to the scam my reporter friend and I were trying to run, the number of left-handed people didn’t increase at all.
I know, duh, right?
Except somehow, the exact same scam is successfully being used to convince the American public that the U.S. suffered a “second wave” of COVID-19 infections and justify needlessly inflicting unprecedented restrictions.TRENDING
People are being forced to wear surgical masks in public which, to add insult to injury, doesn’t do a damn thing to stop the spread of viruses.
And, if you’re so brainwashed that video wasn’t enough to get you to stop needlessly covering your face in public, here’s a long list of research some conscientious person collected showing that wearing masks is ineffective at stopping viruses from spreading and potentially harmful to one’s health.
Parents are being threatened with school shutdowns, which again wouldn’t be necessary even if cases were really rising since we know from two sources that people without symptoms don’t spread the virus.
The first is a recent comprehensive study that I reported on last week.
And the second is none other than Anthony Fauci himself, just one month before he decided it was necessary to needlessly shut down the country and, as Trump’s new COVID-19 advisor Dr. Scott Atlas pointed out in May, kill more people than the virus would have on even the most absurdly exaggerated projections.
On January 28, Fauci told America:
Even if there is some asymptotic transmission, in all the history of respiratory born viruses of any type, asymptomatic transmission has never been the driver of outbreaks.
Businesses are also being forced to stay closed or limit the number of patrons due to manufactured hysteria over a rise in case numbers that occurred while testing was massively increasing.
And, again, since people without symptoms aren’t spreading the virus, the continued decimation of the entire restaurant industry and concomitant destruction of people’s ability to earn their daily bread serves no legitimate purpose even if the “second wave” of COVID infections were real.
Given that the COVID-19 virus is only a real threat to the elderly and antecedently ill, all we ever needed to do was keep sick people away from them instead of, you know, forcing patients known to have serious cases of COVID-19 into nursing homes like New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo did.
But let’s forget entirely that the U.S. officials in charge of public health engaged in a deliberate campaign of disinformation in order to get Americans to accept a bunch of completely unnecessary restrictions that rained down untold hardship, misery, and death on the American people. (Hello, U.S Congress? Department of Justice? Anybody paying attention to the Americans being ruined and killed? Or do you just not give a damn?)
Even had the deadly rules inflicted on us served some legitimate purpose, the spike in cases being used to justify keeping them in place is just as much a hoax as my graph about the mysterious increase in left-handed Americans.
And a Twitter researcher whose done an incredible amount of work exposing all the deadly lies those in charge of keeping us safe from disease have been peddling these past 5 months has made a graph exposing exactly how much of a hoax the supposed “second wave” of COVID-19 cases is.
The gray area is the graph of daily positive tests for the coronavirus that’s been used to keep us afraid and amenable to further control. Just like the daily increase in left-handedness in my earlier graph, it’s meaningless since testing was also increasing.
The orange line shows the daily number of tests being given and how much it climbed.
But, most importantly, the dark blue region gives the data we really care about: the ratio of the number of cases to the number of tests given. And, as you can see, there was never any big “second wave” of COVID-19 infections, and all the measures that continue to be inflicted on us are based on a lie.
Fauci, CDC director Robert Redfield, and the rest of the bureaucrats who pushed us into needlessly self-immolating about COVID-19 may not be the scientific geniuses the media has hyped them as, but they aren’t dumb enough not to know that the supposed huge “second wave” of COVID-19 infections was based on a completely fraudulent presentation of the data.
Yet they did nothing to correct the needless hysteria it caused and, in fact, helped sustain it by insisting that further restrictions like forcing everyone to wear masks were necessary when the real data showed that new COVID-19 cases – apart from a very slight rise that itself may be an artifact of the false positive rate the tests have – had steadily fallen to an all-time low.
It wasn’t just a scam, it was their scam. Just like all the other misinformation about the virus both Fauci and Redfield have been spreading since their hoax begin.
Last week we learned what anyone paying attention has known for months. The American people have somehow acquired ideas about COVID-19 that are so divorced from reality they deserve to be called delusional.
- 92% of reported U.S. COVID fatalities have been 55 or older. But Americans, on average, believe only 50% have.
- Those younger than 45 have accounted for just 2.7% of reported deaths, more than 10 times less than the 30% Americans, on average, believe.
- For those under 25, Americans overestimate their risk of dying from COVID-19 by a factor of 50.
- Meanwhile, they underestimate the risk infection poses to those over 65 by half.
This historically unprecedented episode of mass psychosis about COVID-19 has done more damage to the American people than any terrorist or foreign army has in all our history.
Yet neither Fauci, Redfield, or any of the government agencies responsible for making sure the American people are accurately informed about COVID-19 has done a single thing to correct the completely unjustified state of fear gripping our nation – not even after last week’s poll precisely laying out the basic facts people were misinformed about.
Nobody went on television to tell us our fears were groundless and that more lives would be saved if young and healthy Americans stopped panicking about their own well-being and we focused our efforts on keeping the infected away from the elderly and antecedently ill.
Nobody in any of the agencies whose job it is to keep us safe from COVID-19 said a word.
That by itself ought to be enough to get someone in Congress or at the DOJ to start asking some serious questions about what those leading our response to COVID-19 have been up to these past six months.
Sadly, though, they seem content to watch us suffer and die, crushed by cruel and unnecessary restrictions, in a state of needless panic.
